Zoot and Newt are an eclectic rock duo featuring Jay Robertson on lead guitar and lead vocals (mostly Electric) and Jen Brucher on acoustic 6 and 12 string, along with lead vocals.  Jay and Jen were the frontline of The Marshall Jay Band; they performed as a duo, as Zoot and Newt, while in MJB.  When MJB disbanded, they stayed together, and have been performing in Iowa for the last four years.  Z & N perform originals and covers, with the covers being classic rock tunes, both hits and obscure, from the 60s, 70s, and 80s.
